Supporting Workpieces Securely
KOSTYRKA® support elements stabilize workpieces during machining and help to minimize vibrations - the smoother running ensures an increase in product quality. They are available in cartridge form and as complete support devices in a wide variety of designs. While cartridges can be installed directly in a fixture body, support devices consist of a cartridge that is already installed in a corresponding housing.
In addition to 4 standard sizes of cartridges and devices, support elements can also be realized according to customer specifications.
Technical specifications
As standard, the support elements have support bolts with diameters of 10 to 40 mm (0.4 in to 1.6 in), can pick-up forces of up to 28 kN (6300 lbf) and work with pressures of 50 to 450 bar (725 to 6500 psi). There are also several options for contacting the support bolt to the workpiece (air, oil and spring-loaded).
Customized versions include bolt diameters from 6 mm (0.25 in), different strokes and clamping forces as well as different options for moving the support bolts.
